We listened to everyone quote lines from Nicholas Carr’s book. But in the beginning, we were all able to see through the smoke screen realizing that it was more hype than hope.

The early cloud solutions provided large scale technologies but left their customers feeling like a number. Although you could spin up a virtual server in minutes, you really weren’t getting a business solution. Nobody was working with you on expanding markets and bringing ideas that could help you achieve your bottom line goals. Cloud V1.0 was not a solution.
